You can’t help but become friends with the main character, Elijah. His struggle with God and himself is real. Hilariously, painfully, and beautifully real.

Single handedly one of the best books I have read! Although the characters and storyline is fictional, it speaks of very real things!

I have yet to read a more captivating, spiritually enlightening (yet ACTUALLY relatable to our day and age) and edifying book.

This book is not just for the Orthodox.  I am a Protestant and I am recommending it to all my friends because of its timeless wisdom. Even though it is a work of fiction, it is saturated in truth.
